Elected Programme Representative for HRM Cohort
I am happy to share that Lizzie Smith and I are the Human Resource Management MSc Programme Representatives in The University of Edinburgh Business School! We are excited to act as student liaisons to gather, analyze, and represent cohort feedback.
Responsibilities:
- Lead two 'town-hall' meetings for the cohort (of ~50 people), one for each semester, to gather feedback regarding the programme, courses, Business School, and University, while also presenting programme resources and expectations.
- Create and monitor quantitative feedback cohort surveys throughout the programme.
- Accumulate and anonymously document cohort feedback.
- Attend two Staff Student Liaison Committee (SSLC) meetings to present gathered feedback, discuss data, suggest solutions, and strategically plan next steps.
- Close the feedback loop by updating the cohort on new developments regarding feedback.
- Act as a school representative for the cohort and signpost individuals to relevant University resources as needed.
- Manage expectations and assist in conflict resolution to an extent before escalating.
